Eric Wooldridge and his Somerset Community College (SCC) team are earning a reputation of firsts.

Today was no different as they became the first host of nanoCollider, KY NSF EPSCoR’s new monthly collaboration meeting, with rotating host institutions.

KY NSF EPSCoR nanoColliders allow for participants to more broadly identify opportunities to enhance existing cross-institutional collaborations or establish new connections for potential partnerships. These provide progress reports on strategic goals and other relevant updates of interest from each KAMPERS institution.

SCC addressed PPE printing during the pandemic, workforce development, rapid response additive manufacturing, recruitment strategies, collaboration potential, and gave a virtual tour of their facilities. Over 40 KY NSF EPSCoR participants around the state attended the meeting.
