NationaL Science Board Visits kentucky, epscor leadership

Education, Somerset Community College, University of Kentucky, University of Louisville, Workforce Development / By Kevin.Puckett@uky.edu

NSB members recently met with Kentucky’s leaders and researchers to learn about exciting innovations and talent development efforts in the state. This visit helps inform the Board’s growing focus on the national STEM talent crisis.

Thanks to several members of KY NSF EPSCoR faculty leadership for giving the National Science Board (NSB) a taste of Kentucky innovation! Tours of James B. Beam Institute for Kentucky Spirits, Louisville Automation & Robotics Research Institute, and Additive Manufacturing at Somerset Community College.
