Academia is a different world than industry. Different measures of success, different workflows, and different networking requirements. However, KY NSF EPSCoR, through experiential learning and industrial connections, can help graduate students make this transition and thrive.
Two former KY NSF EPSCoR-supported graduate students from the University of Louisville’s Louisville Automation & Robotics Research Institute, Shamsudeen Abubakar and Christopher Robinson, took this path from academia to industry and shared some of their insights with Co-PI Czarena Crofcheck our new short video series made for Canvas titled, “From PhD to Industry.”
