NSF EPSCoR requires that ERI, RA and RIE proposals relate to a current program research theme:

Power Storage
Printed Electronics
Plant Metabolic Pathways
Synthetic Biology

If an ERI, RA, or RIE proposal is funded, the awarded PI(s) must subsequently submit a follow-on research proposal directly to NSF before a future NSF EPSCoR proposal to one of these same programs (ERI, RA, RIE) will be accepted for consideration.
URE applications require that the participating student(s) be identified at the time the application is submitted.
Any Kentucky Science & Technology Company interested in hosting Kentucky student interns (the internships are paid for by KY NSF EPSCoR) is encouraged to inquire with jeff.mossey@uky.edu.
PROGRAM OFFERINGS
KY NSF EPSCoR offers funding for various projects, research topics, and instrumentation. For more information on each program, navigate to the topic and click on the title. Program requirements are listed below.
Funding for URM-serving STEM programs to support collaboration, address gaps and overlaps in service, and share exemplary practices. Apply as an individual or an institution.
Excel Document. Any entity with a federally negotiated indirect F&A rate can include an applicable indirect cost request, which is excluded from and can be in addition to direct cost cap limits indicated.
No prescriptive format or template. Student resumes are required for URE proposals. Resumes are encouraged for other programs if known at the time of proposal submission.
