I work with long-term and real-time physicochemical and biological databases to assess changes caused by anthropogenic disturbances and climate change. Previously I have been the Commonwealth Endowed Chair for Ecosystem Studies (2008-2018), Director of the Hancock Biological Station (1988-2018), the Coordinator of the Center for Reservoir Research (1993-2008), Co-director of the short-lived Kentucky EPA EPSCoR (2002-2007), and a faculty member of Kentucky EPSCoR Statewide Committee since 1995 (really).
