BOB GRAY

Bob Gray, a former public policy consultant based in Frankfort, Kentucky, is a veteran of more than 25 years in state government.  Bob began his career with the Kentucky Legislative Research Commission, where he conducted policy research and drafted legislation for the General Assembly on health care and human services issues. He also served in the Office of Attorney General as Executive Director of the Office of Rate Intervention and was Director of Performance Audit in the Kentucky State Auditor’s Office.  A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Bob also has experience in the private sector, operating two family-owned supermarkets in his hometown of Hopkinsville, Kentucky.  He became a private consultant upon leaving state government in 2006, focusing on public policy research and development, and retired in January 2021.
